Andro Barac

A master in the art of proper espresso preparation, Andro is an accomplished global sales and marketing executive with over 20 years’ experience in designing and implementing innovative growth-oriented sales and marketing strategies across domestic and 40+ international markets in multiple channels of distribution and product categories including sporting goods, fashion, consumer products, health, beauty and wellness. He was involved in the global expansion of LA Gear, Vans, a number of fashion and nutraceutical companies, and most recently direct response television giants Sylmark (now Ideal Living) and Beachbody, best know for the P90X and Insanity . Andro is also credited with creating and spearheading a number of corporate partnerships with Disney Consumer Products, GlaxoSmithKlein, Roche Consumer Healthcare, and Boots The Chemist in the UK.

When not sipping espresso or globe-trotting, Andro can be found riding his favorite Aprilia motorcycle in the Santa Monica Mountains. Both Andro and his wife are UCLA graduates and very proud ‘Bruins’.

Featured in the Forbes Most Powerful Woman Business Leader issue, Lindsey has taken her business expertise across America to enlighten her marketing peers about metrics-based marketing. She has appeared on, National Public Radio (NPR), The Doctors, The Jeff Probst Show, Telemundo, and local ABC, NBC and CBS morning news programs, as well as USA Today, PR Week, Forbes Woman and others. Most recently Lindsey received a Top Women in Business Award from Pacific Coast Business Times, a Silver Stevie Award as Female Entrepreneur of the Year, multiple 40 Under 40 Awards and two “Marketing Campaign of the Year” awards.

When she’s not in the air, Lindsey can be found on the soccer field, gym, beach or spa relaxing with her friends and family. A NCAA collegiate athlete and officer in the American Marketing Association, Carnett received her B.A. degree in Spanish and Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising.

Phil Rarick

Nicknamed “Bobby Flay” when he’s in the kitchen, Phil is a master chef and king of the BBQ. Pairing delicious cuisine with exotic micro-brews, wine and aged Scotch, you’re certain to have a good time in Phil’s company.

Phil has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to launching and promoting products and brands. He has a dynamic understanding of omni-channel marketing strategies, the Direct Response Industry, Public Relations, Social Media, E-commerce and Retail. Having worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies as well as senior leadership roles in several start-up organizations, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to any scenario. Working on roughly 50 product launches per year, Phil’s guidance surrounding strategic product launches is crucial in the creation of effective marketing and sales initiatives for his clients.

As an active member in professional organizations like Beauty Industry West, Direct Response Marketing Alliance (DRMA) and Electronic Retailing Association (ERA), where he sits on the Content Committee and the U.S. Hispanic Council, Phil has a wealth of expertise in direct response and various other industries. A social butterfly on the street and a bulldog in the boardroom, Thomas is a corporate and investment finance professional with experience from public listed companies and with knowledge of compliance and regulatory services both domestically and internationally. Thomas is a hands-on, proactive, seasoned leader who has been responsible for large financial transactions, advanced Mergers & Acquisitions, IPO’s, equity-raising for both public and private companies in co-operation with investment banks.

Thomas has a strong understanding of business operations and objectives and how to clearly articulate these to analysts and investors. Thomas has the ability to tackle multiple large projects with successful results. His high energy level, social engagement and bottom-line results oriented personality allows me to multi-task between projects and positions providing maximum service and results to tasks at hand.   Through his extensive experience in international business and in dealing with clients in diverse environments, he has gained a cultural understanding, that combined with my historical interest and appreciation has aided his ability to work successfully globally. He enjoys traveling with his family and watching his son play soccer, also attending his daughter’s dive meets.

Rick Shiu
Executive Vice President of Media

Characterized by his friendly smile and positive personality, over the last two decades, Shiu has successfully managed nearly 1 billion dollars in direct response television media in varied categories including fitness, beauty, housewares, and business opportunity.

In direct response long form media, better known as TV infomercials, he’s managed through his analytics, negotiation and supervision, total weekly spending levels of $3 million across multiple campaigns (including individual campaigns in excess of $1 million), and annual spending of over $100 million helping companies he’s worked for, grow by over 300% within a few years.

Within the direct response fitness industry, Shiu started in 1995 helping launch the hit product, The Ab Flex, and continued with other products such as The Ab Trainer, The Ab Coach, and the Bun and Thigh Roller.  His work on fitness home videos includes P90X, Insanity, Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire, Brazil Butt Lift, 10 Minute Trainer, Slim in 6, Yoga Booty Ballet, Power 90, Body Gospel, and many other programs.

He has appeared as a speaker at several of the prestigious Electronic Retailing Association conferences educational sessions as an authority on media as well as direct response campaign management, also having served on several committees and councils for the organization.

Shiu comes with a formal education in media, having a degree in Broadcast Communication Arts from San Francisco State University with an emphasis on the Business Aspects of the Electronic Media.

James Dolan

Before joining Elevar Global, James worked at the agency level providing optimization strategies to e-commerce, publishing and corporate internet properties. He has worked on campaigns from a broad base of clients in a number of industries including: technology services, education, healthcare, hospitality and retail.

Digital Marketing is built on data and metrics, but a large portion of the actual work is creative.

In addition to being a data-driven marketer, James has a creative background in music recording and engineering as well as playing multiple instruments which gives him the ideal blend of creative + analytical. As a former Research Director for BBDO/San Francisco and Creative Research Supervisor and copywriter for BBDO/NY, Carla has special expertise with research related to advertising and DRTV, new product development and positioning, brand equity measurement and strategy, audience segmentation, communications research, and attitude and usage trackers.

For the past 20 years, Carla has owned and managed a successful consulting business which supports clients from the Fortune 500 and which span most product categories and industries.  She has leveraged her extensive research experience to develop proprietary research techniques that give her unique insights into consumer behavior. Carla applies a research style that offers a strong marketing orientation combined with a unique understanding of the creative process.

When not working 24/7, she enjoys global travel. Her passion is giving back, and she is involved in charitable organizations around the world.

Debbie Dykes is an award-winning Creative Director with extensive experience building brands. On the corporate side she’s worked with the big boys: Baskin-Robbins, Nestle, Belkin, and Kaiser Permanente. On the agency side she’s built long-term relationships with MTV, AOL, CMT and Vivendi. A consensus-builder at heart, she knows how to bring the left brains and the right brains together to craft targeted visual solutions that sell.

Stuart is a self-proclaimed golf nut who travels the world looking for the ultimate golf experience. He has over 25 years’ experience with importing, product distribution and marketing. Stuart has worked on consumer goods in the health, beauty, energy and other functional beverages. Stewart is president of a very successful importing distribution company working with brands. Like 5-hour ENERGY and Marley Mellow Mood. He lives in Toronto with his wife of 25 years and his 2 daughters and loves to travel!
